WSOP Circuit event winner

Peter Feldman (known online as "Nordberg") was the winner of the WSOP Circuit Event at Harrah's Rincon. Peter is a 29-year-old professional poker from Harper Woods, Michigan. He is taking home a cool $280,859 (about $50,000 after taxes). Also, Mr. Feldman was awarded a $10,000 buy-in seat into the main event of the 2007 World Series of Poker, to be held in July at the Rio Las Vegas. Peter said "Each and every time I had the best hand in an all-in situation (over the three-day period), it won. And every time I had the worst hand, it lost…..it also helped that I flopped four sets at this final table."

There were 181 players that put up the $5,000 buy-in for a total prize pool of almost a million ($877,850). David Matthew took second place, collecting $147,364. One of my favorite players Gavin Smith went out 7th for $34,674. Peter and Gavin were at the final table in New Orleans as well, finishing 1-2 respectively. This makes two first place circuit events for Peter Feldman.
