Went down to one of the local indian casino's this morning for one of their routine daily tournaments. On Friday's the have a No Limit Hold-em morning tournament at 10:00am that is a $25 Buy-In with $5 Bounties
and has $2,500 Guaranteed. There are no re-buys. I have played this tournament several times and have made the final table at least twice. I won it one time for a cool cash of $675.

I played VERY tight in the early stages. In fact I folded every hand for the first 2 rounds. The best hand that I had was AQ off and the guy to my right moved in before I had any chance to bet. He had JJ and moves in regularly with that hand pre-flop. I may have called if I knew this just for gambling odds early to double up, but I thought that he may also have AK. Everything else played out pretty standard. I did double up from the chip leader at the table with AJ vs 22 to get some breathing room. I made it down to 3 tables and went out about 25-27th or so. I had KJ and I pushed UTG with 14000 on the blinds of 1500/3000 hoping to just take down the pot beacause the table was a bit short as 2 guys went out in the last 2 hands. Unfortunately the chip leader woke up with a hand and called with AJ (dominated). I didn't improve, but I took the chance to double up there and guarantee a spot in the money. Oh well. I'll keep trying.
